Even with the proper permission set, Kubaru and its components will not be visible to users unless they are assigned a Kubaru License.
Kubaru Administrator Permission Set
The Kubaru Administrator permission set should be assigned to users that will be administering Kubaru.
Follow these steps to assign the Kubaru Administrator permission set to one or more users:
- Navigate to Setup.
- Type “Permission Sets” in the Quick Find box, then click on Permission Sets.
- Click on the Kubaru Administrator Permission set.
- Click the Manage Assignments button.
- Click the Add Assignment button.
- Check the box next to one or more users and click Next.
- Click Assign.
Kubaru Manager Permission Set
The Kubaru Manager permission set gives users the ability to:
- View Kubaru Routers
- Manage Router Members
- Manage Out of Office Schedules
- Manage Skills and Skill Assignments
- View Assignment Logs
Follow these steps to assign the Kubaru Manager permission set to one or more users:
- Navigate to Setup.
- Type “Permission Sets” in the Quick Find box, then click on Permission Sets.
- Click on the Kubaru Manager Permission set.
- Click the Manage Assignments button.
- Click the Add Assignment button.
- Check the box next to one or more users and click Next.
- Click Assign.
Kubaru User Permission Set Group
The Kubaru User permission set group should be assigned to users who need to be able to receive assignments from Kubaru. It’s composed of two permission sets: Kubaru User (Legacy) and Kubaru Shark Tank Real-Time Refresh (both are described below).
*This permission set group is dynamically created the first time you open the Kubaru Console.
Follow these steps to assign the Kubaru User permission set group to one or more users:
- Navigate to Setup.
- Type “Permission Set Groups” in the Quick Find box, then click on Permission Set Groups.
- Click on the Kubaru User permission set group.
- Click the Manage Assignments button.
- Click the Add Assignment button.
- Check the box next to one or more users and click Next.
- Click Assign.
Kubaru User (Legacy) Permission Set
We recommend assigning the Kubaru User permission set group instead, which includes this permission set.
The Kubaru User permission set should be assigned to users who need to be able to receive assignments from Kubaru.
Follow these steps to assign the Kubaru User (Legacy) permission set to one or more users:
- Navigate to Setup.
- Type “Permission Sets” in the Quick Find box, then click on Permission Sets.
- Click on the Kubaru User (Legacy) Permission set.
- Click the Manage Assignments button.
- Click the Add Assignment button.
- Check the box next to one or more users and click Next.
- Click Assign.
Kubaru Shark Tank Real-Time Refresh Permission Set
We recommend assigning the Kubaru User permission set group instead, which includes this permission set.
The Kubaru Shark Tank Real-Time Refresh permission set should be assigned to all users who are members of a shark tank. It allows data in the shark tank tab of the Kubaru Utility to update in real time.
Follow these steps to assign the Kubaru Shark Tank Real-Time Refresh permission set:
- This permission set will not appear until after you’ve first navigated to the Kubaru Console, which triggers its creation. Do so if you haven’t already.
- Navigate to Setup.
- Type “Permission Sets” in the Quick Find box, then click on Permission Sets.
- Click on the Kubaru Shark Tank Real-Time Refresh Permission set.
- Click the Manage Assignments button.
- Click the Add Assignment button.
- Check the box next to one or more users and click Next.
- Click Assign.
