Creating Skills
Skill-based routers can be used to assign each record to the best user based on their skills. A skill is any attribute you define, such as languages, certifications, service tiers, or industry expertise. Skills can be organized into skill groups. For example, you could create a skill group for languages that includes skills like English, Spanish, French, and more.
Define Skill Groups
Follow these steps to create a new skill group:
Select Kubaru from the App Launcher menu.
Click the Skills tab in the navigation menu.
Click Manage Skill Groups.
Click the New Skill Group button.
Enter a name in the Skill Group Name field (e.g., “Language”).
(Optional) Select an Icon and Icon Color for the skill group.
Click Save.
Define Skills
Follow these steps to create a new skill:
Select Kubaru from the App Launcher menu.
Click the Skills tab in the navigation menu.
Click Manage Skills.
Click the New Skill button.
Enter a name in the Skill Name field (e.g., “Spanish”).
(Optional) Select a Skill Group (e.g., “Language”).
Add one or more Object Mappings. See Mapping Skills for instructions.
Click Add Users to assign the skill to one or more users.
Click Save.
