Time-Based Limits

Time-Based Limits allow you to set hourly, daily, and weekly assignment caps for each router member. Router members will not receive additional assignments while at their limit.

Follow these steps to assign time-based limits to one or more router members:

  1. Create a new router or edit an existing one.
  2. Scroll to the Router Members step.
  3. (Optional) Click Member Settings and set a Default Time-Based Limit that should be applied to all router members. You’ll be able to override this for individual members.
  4. Update the Time-Based Limit field for individual router members.
  5. Click Save.
Set time-based limits for router members.

The Status column will show “At Time-Based Limit” when router members have reached their limit.

Monitor the router member status to see who is at their time-based limit.

Things to keep in mind

  • Time-based limits use static periods by default (e.g., daily limits reset at midnight). See Rolling Time-Based Limits for information on how to enable rolling limits (e.g., daily limits are based on the last 24 hours).
  • See Stack Time-Based Limits if you’d like to assign individual router members a combination of hourly, daily, and weekly limits.
  • Assignments made from assignment matchingreimbursementsoverflow, and for priority members do not count toward time-based limits.
