Adaptive Round Robin

This is currently a beta feature.

Adaptive Round Robin evenly distributes records among team members while accounting for absences. Unavailable users earn credits for missed assignments, which result in additional assignments upon their return.

Enable Adaptive Round Robin

Follow these steps to enable Adaptive Round Robin:

1. Expand the Admin tab in the navigation menu and click Settings.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Toggle Adaptive Round Robin on.

Adjust Settings

To adjust the settings for Adaptive Round Robin, follow these steps:

1. Expand the Admin tab in the navigation menu and click Settings.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll to the Adaptive Round Robin section and click Edit.

5. Set the Evaluation Period (1 hour to 30 days) used by Kubaru to balance assignments. Credits for missed assignments expire after the evaluation period ends.
6. Enable Rolling Evaluation Period to balance assignments based on a rolling time window (e.g., the last 48 hours for a 2-day period) rather than fixed calendar days.
7. Select one or more member statuses from the Do Not Credit When picklist if you’d like to prevent members from earning credits for missed assignments while in those statuses. For example, select “Out Of Office” if you don’t want users to receive credits while they’re OOO.
8. Click Save.

Things to keep in mind

When enabled, Adaptive Round Robin applies to all routers using round robin assignment.

Router members earn credits for missed assignments based on their assigned weight. For example, a member with a weight of 2 receives 2 credits for every 1 credit earned by members with a weight of 1.
