Salesforce Calendar Sync

Available in Version 5.3 and up

You can pause assignments to members whose Salesforce calendar indicates they are unavailable. Follow these steps to do so:

  1. Navigate to a router.
  2. Scroll down to the Members section and click the Manage Members button. Note: for rule-based routers, scroll down to the Rules section and click Edit next to a rule.
  3. In the Member Settings section, select one of the following options from the Pause During Calendar Events field:
    1. Disabled: leave this selected if you don’t want to pause assignments during calendar events.
    2. All events: pause assignments during any calendar events.
    3. Specific events: only pause assignments during calendar events that you define.
  4. If you select “Specific events”, you also need to enter the field criteria of any qualifying events.
  5. Click Save.

Things to keep in mind

  • While a member is paused from a calendar event, their status will display “Has Calendar Event”.
